This month Lidl will launch a range of organic cotton babywear across their 146 stores nationwide. The beautiful collection will be available from Monday 5th September and is subject to stock lasting. The collection is called Pure Collection By Lupilu and this name really embodies all that it is.
Lidl kindly sent us some products to see what we thought. Little man turned two in June so I thought these items would be perfect for a giveaway for one of my lovely readers. I know a lot of you are either expecting a baby or have an infant in your lives already.
I have actually always been a big fan of Lidl babywear. I regularly advise friends and followers to pick up their basic items such as long sleeved tops, PJs and hoodies because we have found the quality of these items to be incredible. Very similar to a much more expensive and high end chain in Ireland and the UK. The items wash really well and hold their shape and colour. This is very important when you spend half your life glued to the washing machine. Little people go through a LOT of clothes.
When Lidl approached me about the new Organic cotton babywear collection I was looking forward to checking it out. I had absolutely no idea that the collection would be so premium though. I hate to use this term, but if I said to you that the products were "expensive looking" you would probably know what I meant. If I didn't show you the packaging you would list 2-3 expensive high street baby ranges or think they were from an exclusive baby boutique. I really mean that and don't just say it lightly.
The quality of the items in this collection is just amazing. The organic cotton is the softest material I have ever felt and it actually makes me broody! The teeny tiny sleep suits and vests bring me right back to those first few weeks. The delicate dream-like state that encompasses life with a newborn. Organic cotton is the perfect material for a baby's delicate skin.
The collection ranges from sizes 0-24 months and includes soft prints and neutral colours. The price point is spot on as always with Lidl with Organic Cotton bodysuits for €5.99 and packets of organic cotton socks for €2.99.
This range would make for a stunning present or just everyday essentials for your own baby.
